Cape Town: The body of Bob Woolmer, the late coach of Pakistan's cricket team who was found dead in a Jamaican hotel room, arrived in South Africa on Sunday morning.

A casket bearing Woolmer's embalmed body arrived at the Cape Town International Airport shortly before 10:00 am local time on a South African Airways flight from London.

Woolmer was found unconscious in his hotel room and pronounced dead within an hour at a hospital on March 18, the morning after his powerhouse Pakistan team was upset at the World Cup by Ireland and knocked out in the first round.

Four days later, police said he was strangled. Police said this month they received results of toxicology tests but did not release them pending further analysis.
