A massive fire has broken out in Sharjah Thursday afternoon, residents say

- Fire broke out yesterday at transport company in Industrial area 12, Sharjah.
The fire occured in the afternoon in Industrial Area 12.
Colonel Khalid Obaid Al Kanoon, an official at Sharjah Civil Defence, said that the fire started in an oil depot that contained 8,000 gallons of diesel owned by Al Bahrain Transportation Company.
It then moved to the neighbouring oil depot of the same company, which contained that was having 10,000 gallons of diesel, whiched gutted the two depots.
Four lorries that belonged to the company in the compound were also burned to scrap.
The fire started at 4pm and no deaths or injuries were reported.
