Maid falls to death from fifth floor in Khor Fakkan

Sharjah: A housemaid fell to her death from the fifth floor of a high-rise residential building, a police official told Gulf News.

The Asian housemaid fell on Sunday evening in Al Qadisyah area of Khor Fakkan.

A team from the Criminal Investigation Department and forensic laboratory as well as paramedics arrived the scene and found the woman had died.

The woman’s body was first taken to the hospital before being transferred to the police forensic laboratory to help the investigations.

“We are still investigating if the case was an accident or a suicide," the official said.
