Fujairah: Khor Fakkan’s Emirati goalkeeper Bilal Mal Allah Al Kindi, who was involved in an accident on the Fujairah-Khor Fakkan Road on September 12, succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of yesterday.
The 27-year-old was driving towards Khor Fakkan when he lost control of his vehicle, causing the car to overturn. The police operations room received a call around 5pm on September 12 reporting the incident.
Moved to Abu Dhabi
Al Kindi was moved to Fujairah hospital, and subsequently transferred to the ICU of Cleveland Hospital in Abu Dhabi where he died yesterday morning.
Tributes for the footballer poured in on social media.
The funeral prayer was held after Asr prayer at Abu Bakr Al Seddiqi Mosque in Fujairah and his burial took place at Fujairah cemetery.
