Dubai: Lotus One, the fusion restaurant and lounge bar, brings delectable moments with a winning touch.

Selected as the best dessert in the Live Dessert Cooking Show held at Chocolate Event, as part of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2008, Lotus One's Yin Yang Chocolate Dumplings sweeten your sessions with a great taste of chocolate and ice-cream.

It serves best with Thai tea Anglaise in a shot glass and homemade Choco-chip Ice-cream.

The team, led by Anil Kumar, corporate chef, George V, Leisure and Hospitality, prepared the dessert on behalf of a curious crowd at the competition held at the Al Ghurair City. Mickey Narciso Dela Cruz, head chef, Lotus One and Chef Janice were the other members in the team.

The Chocolate Event was the first DSS event to bring cooking competitions for both professional chefs and cooking enthusiasts.

Denham Schiff, vice-president, marketing and corporate communications, Time Machine Group, said, "Lotus One is recognised for offering a truly exotic fusion experience with the perfect blend of music, food and ambience. We are very pleased that one of the top selling desserts at Lotus One has been chosen as the best at the DSS 2008 Chocolate Event."
