Does anyone remember that tower under your table that took care of your computing needs before ultra books, tablets and smartphones strolled into our lives? Well now meet its hot niece — the ZOTAC ZBOX nano XS AD11. The new-gen PC of today has had enough of customers opting for sleeker, sexier devices. Feeling ostracised, it hit the gym and emerged better than ever.

ZOTAC is one of the largest NVIDIA graphics cards and motherboard manufacturers in the world and its AD11 is marketed as the world's smallest PC. The AD11 is the size of a sandwich — a very, very small sandwich.

The AD11 is more than capable of delivering a rich HD desktop computing experience. An AMD E-450 APU based system with Radeon HD 6320 graphics processing sits at the heart of the ZOTAC ZBOX nano XS AD11. The AD11 also delivers HDMI output, has two super speed USB 3.0 ports, two high speed USB 2.0 ports and includes a Wi-Fi adaptor. Also in the mix, a six-in-one memory card reader (SD/SDHC/SDXC/MMC/MS/MS Pro) and an integrated IR receiver.

The new AD11 chassis is a 106mm box that is only 37mm tall with integrated gigabit Ethernet allowing high-speed wired network transfers while a USB 802.11n Wi-Fi adapter is bundled for users who desire wireless network connectivity. The AD11 will set you back Dh1,322, though its DDR3 memory and mSATA SSD would tell you it's worth it.
