Deal 2014 brings nearly 300 companies in the leisure and amusement sector to Dubai. The show starts today and will run until Thursday.
Here are some things visitors can look forward to.
Jungle Jive 4D: This ride from Jolly Roger Amusement Parks integrates media, actuator motion and 4D effects into a fibreglass truck-style vehicle. The adventure can be customised for entertainment and educational purposes targeting children around nine years old.
Candy Van: One of the latest vending machines, this dispenser is built into a bright, durable fibreglass truck. It has 18 sweet dispensers (pouring out Skittles, Galaxy Minstrels, m&ms, Mints, Mentos, Mini-Eggs and Jelly Beans) and two capsule toy dispensers, each operated by an independent coin mechanism. This user-friendly product is also being exhibited by Jolly Roger Amusement Parks.
XD Dark Ride: Amusement Services International (ASI) will be showcasing the first immersive 7D attraction for all attendees. The XD Dark Ride delivers an exceptional gaming and movie experience with its interface and seats that can perform up to 400 movements per second and mimic speeds of up to 2g in acceleration.
Mach Storm: A profound fighter plane combat game, Mach Storm assures a superb gaming experience with its impressive dome-screen cabinet, air blowers, bass speakers and a mounted camera. Players take on the role of an ace pilot who must defend his airspace from enemy aircraft.
Batman Games: This mission-based game encourages continuous play and features a player account system keeping track of mission progress and high scores. It is being exhibited by Warehouse of Games.
Aliens Armageddon: A fully licensed Aliens product with four chapters of intense gameplay, this game has epic battles with enormous xenomorphs that should set players’ hearts and guns pumping. Presented by Warehouse of Games, it has cutting-edge graphics and sound, which will make players feel like they are in the middle of all the action.
ICE Games: Innovative Concepts in Entertainment, Inc. (ICE) has been participating in Deal for 20 years now and this time, it will showcase all-new family redemption games such as Whack A Win, a carnival-style redemption skill tester with hammer, Down The Clown, an exciting carnival knock-down redemption game, a new version of Iceball FX and Monopoly, a great video redemption adaptation of the popular board game.
Sideshow: Pan Amusements is bringing the massive hit game Sideshow to the Middle East. All the sights and sounds of a fairground are packed into this one, which includes spinning cards, clowns’ bowties, tin cans, stars and spirals and ducks. All targets have sound effects and there is an encourage-to-play speech as well.
Big Top Circus: Also from Pan Amusements, this shooting gallery is complete with clowns, an animated fire engine, a bearded lady, escapologist, snake charmer and more. It boasts 22 fully programmable multiaction targets with digital sounds, bonus pricing and shoot-back water features.
