Dubai: Officials will discuss the success of the Dubai Model at a global project management event in September.

The city’s achievements in various fields, from art to transport, will be highlighted as an example to follow during the Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF).

On Tuesday, it was announced that that Bill Nuti, chairman, CEO and president of NCR Corporation, will be the primary speaker at the forum.

The announcement was made by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

Mattar Al Tayer, chairman of the board and executive director of the RTA, said: “The organising committee of the Forum selected Bill Nuti as he is well respected for his leadership skills and expertise in reinventing companies for sustainable and profitable growth.”

NCR deals in consumer transaction technologies, enabling more than 485 million transactions daily across the retail, financial, travel, hospitality, telecom and technology sectors.

Since joining NCR in 2005, Nuti made the decision to reinvent NCR over the long term, including shifting the core business model of NCR from hardware to more software and Software as a Service (SaaS).

Nuti is a frequent speaker at high-profile business and technology events. He is also an enterprise and business policy leader in Washington, where he founded a CEO policy forum on tax reform and competitiveness. He also spoke at the White House Forum on ‘Strategy for American Innovation’.
