Dubai: Dubai Customs will help 300 needy families this Ramadan, in coordination with a local charity.

Giving and charity are an inherent Emirati value, as well as a key goal of the nation as set out by the designation of 2017 as the Year of Giving, said Khalil Saqr Bin Gareeb, Director of Corporate Communication Department.

Abdeen Taher Al Awadi, general manager of Beit Al Khair Society, said: “We thank Dubai Customs for lending a helping hand to the needy.

“This will alleviate the burden these needy families have to face in the holy month and will help them spend an easier and happier Ramadan.”
