Dawoodi Bohra leader comes to the UAE
Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin to inaugurate the expanded Al Masjid Al Saifee in Deira-Dubai on January 25
Dubai: Sultan ul-Bohra, 53rd Dai el-Fatimi, Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, head of the worldwide Dawoodi Bohra Community, will arrive in Dubai, where he will inaugurate the expanded Al Masjid Al Saifee in Deira-Dubai, on January 23. He will be received by dignitaries and a high-level delegation of the community, when he flies in from Colombo, Sri Lanka.
He will then be taken to Al Masjid Al Burhani Complex in Al Qusais, where he will be welcomed to the country by community members – thousands of whom are expected – and honoured on the occasion of his 74th birthday, a milestone he recently marked in Surat, India.
Dr Syedna is expected to address the audience briefly.
During his stay, Dr Syedna will inaugurate the refurbished 35-year-old Al Masjid as-Saifee, on January 25, followed by Maghrib prayers.
