Police confirm 4-year-old boy died after vehicle slipped and overturned
Sharjah: A 4-year-old Indian boy died after the vehicle he was in slipped on wet road and overturned, an official at Sharjah Police told Gulf News on Sunday.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident on Al Dhaid-Sharjah Road near intersection 10.
Seven of the boy’s family sustained moderate to serious injuries, Sharjah Police confirmed.
The accident took place on Sunday afternoon when the driver drove the vehicle at a high speed, causing it to slip on the wet road and overturn several times.
The child died on the spot and was transferred to the Al Dhaid Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. His family members were sent to Al Qasimi Hospital for treatment, police said.
