“The level of advancements achieved by the UAE in the national domain spectrum is very promising, particularly in supporting Arabic content on the internet and promoting the spread of Arabic websites. And as we approach the World Arabic Language Day assigned by the United Nations on December 18, I would like to stress that the TRA is working diligently to support Arabic content on the ICT network through a variety of initiatives and projects, most importantly the UAE national domain name,” said Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri, Director General UAE mGovernment.

Tasjeel.ae has the top growth rate of 52 per cent between January and August this year, followed by Aeserver at 31.9 per cent, 101Domain Inc. at 17 per cent, Instra Corporation at 13.9 per cent and IP Mirror at 7.7 per cent.

Al Mansouri said that the UAE provides an advanced infrastructure for both ICT and business sectors and with the increasing number of companies registered under the national .ae domain name, the UAE has succeeded in establishing its leading position and reinforcing a unique digital presence on the Web.
