Abu Dhabi: The Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) is organising a workshop titled UN e-Government Index in Dubai from September 2 to 3 at the Conrad Dubai hotel.
Richard Kirby, Senior Interregional Adviser on e-Government and knowledge expert Brian Prentice from Gartner are participating in the workshop.
This workshop is being organised in order to strengthen the UAE position on the UN e-Government index. Hamad Obaid Al Mansouri, UAE mGOV Director, opened the workshop with a welcoming speech.
“We aim through these ongoing efforts to promote the government bodies’ electronic presence and emphasize its distinctive ability to keep pace with global development in this field,” Mansouri said.
