Dubai: Telecom service provider etisalat on Saturday announced its Ramadan offers. Customers can now choose from a variety of discount offers during Ramadan and that encompass new/current pre-paid and new post paid connections and value added services like 3G video call and Push-To-Talk.
etisalat Wasel customers can now enjoy free air-time credit with no expiry date, providing them maximum flexibility and convenience. Customers can use free air time credit of up to 15 per cent, based on their recharge denominations (starting from Dh50). The higher the denomination of recharge, the higher is the air-time bonus offered, as explained below:
For customers using recharge through other options like banks, public cash payment machines, Emirates Post, mobile payment, online and auto pay, the denominations and discounts are as follows:
For every new Wasel connection, customers can enjoy a periodic monthly bonus of Dh10 per month, for the next three months, which will be credited to their accounts at the beginning of each calendar month. This will be in addition to the existing initial Dh10 credit, which will provide collaborative savings of Dh40 per connection.
For new GSM connections, customers can enjoy up a monthly rental fees waiver for three months (1 hour 20 minutes of free local talk-time per month for the first three months) along with 100 free local SMS and 10 minutes of free local video calls.
This collaboratively would result in considerable savings of over 65 per cent (a postpaid connection for Dh125 would accrue savings of Dh84). Moreover, with the off peak rates for the first three days of Ramadan customers can accrue additional benefits and savings.
Besides prepaid and post paid connections, etisalat customers would also be able to enjoy off-peak rates for all international destinations for 3G video calls, enabling them to connect with their friends and families in 39 countries.
Customers can also connect cost-effectively with their friends and families by subscribing to Push-to Talk (PTT) services (send an SMS "r ptt" to 1010 from your Nokia mobiles) and enjoy unlimited pushes to individual or to a group for just Dh50 during Ramadan.
Additionally a mobile broadband services that include faster internet at 7.2mbps with a capacity of 100GB (till September 30), USB modem (E220) and data SIM Card is being offered for customers, for Dh999, providing combined savings of 25 per cent to the customer.
