Dubai: Shamma Suhail Faris Al Mazroui, Minister of State for Youth, stressed that a huge turnout for the Arab Youth Startup Marketplace, running at Jumeirah Emirates Towers until Thursday, reflects the high capabilities and efficiency of Arab youths in innovating digital and technological projects.

Al Mazroui said that such projects serve as a model for facing future challenges, contributing to the development of communities and raising standards of living in the Arab world.

“The Arab youth market received widespread participation and attracted the interest of businessmen from different Arab nations. This proves youths’ increased awareness on the importance of creating a major and positive change in the lives of their communities by transforming their ideas into projects that can be implemented. Arab youth are capable of innovating projects that can provide a valuable addition to the world,” said Al Mazroui.

Al Mazroui called on investors to support the projects of Arab youth and invest in their products and efforts in order to achieve better outcomes. She indicated that the Arab youth projects market represents a valuable opportunity to connect young Arab entrepreneurs with investors, so that their ideas can be transformed into successful projects.

She added that these projects could contribute to boosting the development of Arab nations that need the ideas, efforts and capabilities of every youth in all fields and sectors.
