Dubai: The IAL Group, a leading provider of supply chain logistics, is expanding its service offerings into the African continent with the launch of Omega Logistics (Africa) in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
With over two decades of expertise in supply chain logistics, liner operations, container conversion and repair services, IAL has increased its presence in the continent with the venture.
"We are excited about this venture which will enable us to leverage the strengths of our organisation. Being a global logistics provider, IAL will be able to propel itself to the next phase of its aggressive growth strategy," said T.V.N. Kutty, chairman and managing director of the group.
Encompassing a complete range of project and supply chain logistics services, the company is well equipped with captive resources including handling equipment, warehouses and control facilities.
The services include heavy lifts and ODC transportation, multi-modal operations, turnkey logistics projects, customs clearance and re-forwarding, barging and ro-ro operations, port/shore handling, equipment mobilisation and co-ordination.
