Dubai: Gulf Navigation Holding, one of the leading ship owning and maritime services companies in the region, has taken delivery of its new vessel Stolt Gulf Mishref from Korea in partnership with Stolt Nielsen.

This delivery brings the company's fleet of chemical carriers to eight, four of which are jointly owned, while the other four are fully owned by Gulf Navigation. All ships are chartered out on long-term contracts for ten years to Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) in Saudi Arabia.

The new vessel is a chemical carrier of 46,089 dwt capable of carrying a wide variety of bulk liquids.

Stolt Gulf Mishref, which will be owned by Gulf Stolt Tankers, a joint venture of Stolt Nielsen and Gulf Navigation, and managed Gulf Stolt Ship Management in Dubai, is already operating within the Stolt tankers joint service pool.

Abdullah Al Shuraim, chairman of the Board of Gulf Navigation Holding, said, "These new vessels will achieve positive results and will generate additional success for Gulf Navigation Holding."
