Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Ports Company officially welcomed Shaikh Mohammad Bin Abdullah Bin Sultan Al Nuaimi, President of Ajman Ports and Customs Authority, on November 18.
A delegation visited Khalifa Port’s Terminal Operations Building, from where they could see the port’s cutting edge container yard operations, including its nine Super Post Panamax ship-to-shore quay cranes, some of the largest and most modern cranes in the world.
Shaikh Mohammad was accompanied by Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Nuaimi, Customs Inspection Manager at Ajman Ports, Nasser Obaid Al Suwaidi, Customs Tariff Manager, and Khalifa Abdallah Bu Shehab, Customs Policies Manager from Ajman, who came to see the Khalifa Port, including its semi-automated container terminal — the first of its kind in the GCC region.
