Dubai: Buyers who want to get a hold of Apple’s latest smartphone iPhone 7 can pre-order both Etisalat and Du starting on Friday, September 9, both companies announced on Thursday.
Apple launched iPhone 7 and the larger iPhone 7 Plus — touted as both water-proof and dust-proof and with a processor that is 240 times faster than the first iPhone — on Wednesday night in San Francisco, California.
The UAE is one of few countries countries where the new smartphones will be made available from September 17.

The latest version of Apple iPhone 7 starts at $649 for the iPhone 7 for US customers.
Customers of the UAE's two carriers were told to pre-order iPhone 7 beginning on 9 September, 2016 (11am UAE time, for etisalat).
