Dubai: HTC unveiled its next flagship smartphone – HTC 10 - at 10 cities across the world at the same time on Tuesday, including Dubai.

The 10 cities are San Francisco, New York, London, Berlin, Dubai, Taipei, Paris, Warsaw, Istanbul and Beijing.

The Taiwanese company did not launch alongside other leading devices at Mobile World Congress 2016 in February to launch it separately.

The company is looking to re-find its form with its latest smartphone launch and take the advantage back from its Android rivals.

The 5.2-inch quad HD (1440 x 2560) device is powered by Qualcomm 820 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of RAM.

It houses 12MP "Ultra Pixel" camera with optical image stabilization and laser autofocus, while the front-facing camera reportedly offers 5-megapixels with its own OIS as well. It sports 24-bit hi-res audio and HTC Boomsound.

The device looks similar to its One M9 and iPhone-like HTC One A9. It retains the metal body. It is priced at Dh2,399 and available next month.
