Dubai: Du, the Dubai-listed telecommunications company, announced it has built a new satellite Teleport Facility located in the Al Qudra area of Dubai.
The facility covers an area of 75,000 square metres, and was built to enable the expanding requirements of du’s broadcast customers. It was built to accommodate 50 earth station antenna systems with further room to expand.
The facility will also cater to growth in demand for satellite TV offering improved technology. It will be scaled up to cover all broadcasting operations including TV signal processing and TV playout services.
