New York: AT&T Inc posted second-quarter profit that was in line with analysts’ estimates as the company added mobile subscribers than projected.
Earnings excluding some items were 72 cents a share, the Dallas-based company said in a statement Thursday. That matched the 72-cent average of estimates compiled by Bloomberg. Second-quarter sales were $40.5 billion (Dh148.75 billion), compared with projections for $40.6 billion.
The company added a total of 257,000 monthly mobile subscribers, more than the 251,500 average predicted by six analysts in a Bloomberg survey.
