The Kanoo Group and Mitsui OSK Lines Ltd have established a new company called Mitsui OSK Lines (UAE) LLC, company representatives said.
The new firm will act as general agent for Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) in the UAE starting tomorrow, except for matters connected to the tanker business.
In accordance with the change, the last container service vessels of MOL handled by the Kanoo Shipping Agencies will be the Qingdao and the Cairo. For car carrier service, the final vessel of MOL handled by Kanoo will be the Astral Ace.
Future vessels operated by MOL arriving at UAE ports will be handled by MOL (UAE) LLC, company representatives said.
