Abu Dhabi: Global logistics provider Agility posted a 12.1 per cent increase in net profit in the second quarter of 2017. The firm’s second-quarter net profit reached 16.8 million Kuwaiti dinars (Dh203.9 million) from 15 million Kuwaiti dinars in the second quarter of 2016.

The revenue of the company went up by 10.9 per cent from 308.5 million dinars in the second quarter of 2016 to 342.1 million dinars in the second quarter of 2017, the company said in a statement.

Agility’s infrastructure group was the primary driver of performance in the second quarter, Tarek Sultan, vice-chairman and CEO, said in a statement.
