Dubai: Aramex, a Dubai-listed transportation and logistics company, posted a 15 per cent increase in net profit in 2014, according to a statement on Thursday.

Net profit rose from Dh278 million in 2013 to Dh318.4 million in 2014.

The company’s revenues grew to Dh3.65 million last year, up 10 per cent from Dh3.32 million in 2013.

Aramex said in the statement that the growth achieved in 2014 was “supported by robust growth in the last quarter of the year.”

Net profit for the fourth quarter of 2014 reached Dh89.4 million, an increase of 17 per cent compared with Dh76.4 million in the same period in 2013.

Revenue for the fourth quarter touched Dh959 million, up 13 per cent from Dh850 million achieved in the same period in 2013.
