Dubai: Summer sees the temporary exodus of many UAE residents, who choose to spend the hottest months of the year in cooler climes.

But it’s also the time of year that many expats choose to make their move back to their countries of origin, creating vacancies across several industries. This means it’s not a bad time to go job hunting.

If you’re on the lookout for a job, you can find some of the hottest job postings in the UAE today by checking out the following avenues:

LinkedIn

It’s always a good idea to keep your LinkedIn profile up to date. New jobs are listed on the site regularly, and it’s simple to refine your search to specific areas of the UAE.

Classifieds

See if your dream job is being advertised on getthat.com. If you’re an employer, you can also look for the perfect candidate to fill a position.

You can register on the Dubai Careers website and search for jobs here.

Emirates

Whether it’s flying or maintaining a plane, being part of cabin crew, in-flight catering or being involved in one of the myriad other roles that keeps an airline going, you may just have the skills and experience for one of the jobs advertised by Emirates on their jobs portal

Google jobs

Google is another place where you can have a razor-sharp focus for your job hunt, as it allows you to search LinkedIn, Monster, Facebook, and more job sites — all at once. The tech giant has now extended its Google for Jobs platform to all developers and site owners. The platform, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, lists new features, such as: prominent listings for companies that include job details, logos, ratings and reviews; filters job seekers can use to narrow searches by job location, title and other categories; and greater chances for job seekers to interact with employers' postings and click on their sites. Employers and site owners can track their listings and fix problems, too.
