Dubai: Rolls-Royce, which has had its pre-owned programme — Provenance — running for some time, is starting to see traction build up.

“With the relative increase in the number of trade-ins — since many of our Phantom customers traded up their existing cars to the new Phantom Series II — there was a natural supply to feed demand,” said Ayman Ganem, regional general manager.

“Provenance stock is selected from pre-owned models that meet an exacting level of quality. Initially, the majority of our stock was from the local market, mainly made up of existing clients who traded in. However, through our international Provenance Stock locator, a prospective client could select a specific set of requirements and only when these requirements are met by a car in our stock would it be offered to him.

“Provenance does offer the flexibility to source cars from various markets as long as the vehicle specification meet local regulations.”

The programme offers warranty of up to two years and a service contract. Bespoke services on Provenance vehicles are relatively limited, but a new owner could order bespoke headrest embroidery or have some minor personalisation touches done on the interior which can be shipped and installed locally.
