Hyundai updates its premium carmaker credentials
First Hyundai hived off its premium car interests under the "Genesis" badge, and now the focus is on building up the portfolio. The G90 and G80 have come off the production lines and now comes a compact model in the form of the G70.
A 3.3 Turbo engine version does churn out a handsome 370 hp. There is also a 2.0 litre turbocharged gasoline I4. UAE deliveries are expected from early 2018.

New Ghibli sure carries a light touch
The new Maserati Ghibli can feel just that little bit easier on the touch. And with a valid reason too, as the Italian manufacturer has done away with the hydraulic power steering with Electric Power Steering.
Amid these changes, what is constant is retention of that "razor-sharp steering feel typical to every Maserati". The Ghibli sedan is now the best-selling vehicle in Maserati's storied history, with over 70,000 units delivered since 2013.
New Cayenne’s feels a tad lighter
The latest Porsche Cayenne, in its third-generation outing, sure feels a lot lighter. A sizable 65 kilograms have been shaved off from the previous version. If the driver feels like giving it a good off-road workout, he can choose between five pre-programmed drive and chassis variants depending on the terrain.
The model range will be available in three versions from 340 hp to 550 hp and feature a new eight-speed Tiptronic S gearbox. The Cayenne Turbo works up a maximum torque of 770 Nm (an increase of 20 Nm) and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds when it comes with the optional Sport Chrono Package.
Trust Ferrari to give that heady feeling
Care to do a spin in a vehicle with a max speed of 320 km/h? And some? Take a look at the Ferrari Portofino, which takes all of 3.5 seconds to touch 100 km/h from standstill.
The convertible had its global reveal at September's Frankfurt show, and comes with a new V8 GT. And this is one model that is designed for everyday driving rather than top-down long drives on weekends. It is priced from Dh852,000 and that's inclusive of VAT.
