Dubai: Al-Futtaim Motors — Lexus, the exclusive distributor for Lexus in the UAE, has confirmed its third consecutive presence at the World Future Energy Summit reiterating its commitment to the clean energy event which takes place this from January 15 to 17.
At the show’s Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre venue, Al-Futtaim Motors — Lexus will display its new RX 450h and GS 450h vehicles equipped with the cutting-edge Lexus Hybrid Drive technology which features an Electric Vehicle-Drive Mode that enables vehicles to run purely on electric power at lower speeds and with zero emissions.
Lexus Hybrid Drive has been developed solely by Lexus for use in its range of luxury vehicles. It was designed to deliver powerful high performance hybrid cars that provide a quiet and smooth driving experience with reduced emissions and fuel consumption.
Initially introduced in 2004, this system has evolved and is now widely considered as the most advanced automotive powertrain in the world. It has recorded over nine billion kilometres of hybrid drive time, a feat equivalent to circumnavigating the globe over 224,000 times.
