Enter Etisalat Mobile Baby, a new program developed by partners Great Connection, that negates the traditional print medium and sends digital pictures and health data of the foetus directly to the mother's mobile phone. The new technology will be rolled out to UAE hospitals and health clinics in December. Asa Nordgren, CEO and co-founder of Great Connection, told Gulf News that it only "takes six seconds and the mother can post it on Facebook or Twitter."
Abdullah Ebrahim Al Ahmad, regional senior vice president of business with etisalat, told Gulf News that the new Mobile Baby service makes sense because "today, it's all on your mobile." "Now with Mobile Baby, a mother can share with the entire world the joy of seeing the first images of her child," Al Ahmad said.
