The Sharjah Economic Development Department (Sedd) is striving to provide the necessary support, encouragement and facilities for women to bring about their participation at all levels of economic developments, Sedd said in a press release on Saturday.

"We seek to create ideal investment climate for businesswomen and to help them make significant contribution to our thriving economy. We have recently opened a unit dedicated to offering superior services for businesswomen," said Ali Bin Salem Al Mahmoud, general manager of Sedd.
