Dubai: Qatar First Investment Bank and Ithmar Capital, a regional private equity firm, announced yesterday the launch of a new health care platform which will seek to capitalise on the extensive growth opportunities in the health care service and pharmaceutical/life science sectors in the GCC.
This health care platform represents the first collaboration between QFIB and Ithmar and is QFIB's first venture in the health care sector. QFIB and Ithmar jointly announced the completion of their first health care initiative — a strategic equity partnership with Al Noor Medical Company which offers a full array of healthcare services in the UAE.
