Par for the course among the elite

Dubai: Fancy a four-week annual vacation at the Old Course - the best in the golf world and a favourite of world's top golfers including Tiger Woods?
Well, it could be yours for £775,000. With this amount you could have a five-star treat for 28 days annually at The Residence, a luxury property in St Andrews, Scotland and home to the Old Course - a favourite of Tiger Woods, and guess what - rub shoulders with these most sought-after-golfers.
Some of those names are in Dubai right now!
The Scottish owners are marketing the property for fractional ownership to investors in UAE at a time when the Dubai Desert Classic, in which Tiger Woods is participating, is underway. The property is on the public market for the first time and is limited to only 12 shares each for £775,000. "No one can dispute that this is the finest golf property in the world. There is no possibility of this ever being duplicated. This is like art or jewellery, highly collectable," Martin Glynn, the owner of The Residence told Gulf News.
Having a share in The Residence will entail owners to 28 days of exclusive use annually.
"The price is very comparable to similar high-end products around the world. The price on the usage basis is similar to staying at a five-star hotel, with the benefit of ownership," said Martin Glynn, owner of The Residence.
