Dubai: The dream of owning the very best products in the world of automobiles or simply winning a prize that could give them a better life will come true for 31 lucky shoppers during Dubai Shopping Festival 2013, which starts on 3rd January.

As a part of the DSF Mega Raffles, the Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE), an agency of the Department of Economic Development and organizers of DSF, will be holding a daily Nissan Grand Raffle in collaboration with AW Rostamani Arabian Automobiles, the flagship company of AW Rostamani Group, a DEPE Festivals Strategic Partner, during the 18th edition of DSF.

For 31 days starting January 4, a winner chosen at a raffle draw held at the Global Village every day will drive away with one of 12 top models from the Nissan fleet of cars and Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV). Up for grabs are award-winning Nissan SUVs, such as the Armada, Pathfinder, Murano, Patrol, Juke, Xterra and Qashqai, as well as acclaimed luxury sedans such as the Maxima and Altima. Rounding up an enviable ensemble from the Japanese marque are practical options such as the Sunny and the Micra, and the adrenalin rush-inducing popular sports coupe, the 370Z.

Customers are entitled to a raffle coupon for every Dh20 spent at the convenience stores attached to ENOC and EPPCO petrol stations in Dubai starting from January 3, or they can get a coupon for every Dh 200 spent at a participating retail outlet. The daily draw, which will take place at 10pm everyday at a specially constructed stage in the Global Village, will be telecast live on the Sama Dubai television channel.

Speaking about the exciting Nissan Grand Raffle, Ebrahim Saleh, Festivals Coordinator General at DEPE, said: “Dubai Shopping Festival is always keen on giving thousands of people the opportunity to win gifts that can change their lives. The Nissan Grand Raffle, which will be held daily during the festival, will keep the excitement alive throughout the event. All participants will have an equal chance of winning and those that do end up as winners will experience the life-changing moment of driving away with the cars of their dreams.”

Saleh added that the DEPE has a history of successful partnerships with the Al Rostamani Group, which has always been keen to offer amazing prizes every year in the DSF. Both DEPE and Al Rostamani Group have always worked together to offer the best that they can to their audience, including visitors who come all the way to Dubai to be part of DSF. “The smile on the winners’ faces makes us feel that we have accomplished our duty of according them the best of our traditional hospitality,” Saleh added.

Michel Ayat, CEO of Arabian Automobiles said: “DSF is a great opportunity for us to connect with guests from all over the world who participate in this special and successful festival. We are very happy to be part of this event and offer daily prizes to the festival’s visitors, who are also guests of Dubai - the city that prides itself on being crowned for the second successive year as the “World Festival and Event City” by The International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA). The success of 17 previous editions of the DSF has come through the huge efforts made by the DEPE and its Strategic Partners and sponsors - and by the visitors themselves. This year, too, we will see “Dubai at its Best” during DSF and exceed the expectations that visitors have formed of the city which always offers something new and amazing each year.”

With a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take home a coveted prize of a car every day, the Nissan Grand Raffle yet again proves that the Dubai Shopping Festival is truly about winning at its best.
