Abu Dhabi: The National Drilling Company (NDC) has opened its Drilling Training Centre at Bida Al Oshaneh Base Camp in Bu Hasa area at Al Gharbia (Western Region), aimed at imparting specialised technical training to new employees.
The centre has six halls, four laboratories, plus other facilities and is capable of accommodating more than 300 trainees.
NDC chief executive officer, Abdullah Saeed Al Suwaidi, inaugurated the centre in the presence of Saeed Bin Rasas Al Mansouri, executive manager for Nationals Affairs in the Ruler’s Representative Court in the Western Region, Mohammad Shleiweh Al Qubaisi, director of Human Resources at the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), Abdul Muneim Saif Al Kendi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations (ADCO), Abdul Aziz Ali Al Mansouri, deputy director of the School District in the Western Region, as well as a number of officials from various government entities and senior executives from the Adnoc Group of companies.
