Kerry Group to expand business in UAE

Ease of doing business and market potential are behind the expansion plan in Dubai

Dubai: Kerry Group, a global ingredients and flavours producer, opened on Tuesday its new regional application centre in the UAE, to serve its global and regional customer in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.

The expansion plan for Kerry comes in line with the growing potential in the region and the advantage of the UAE market as a gateway for new market and new opportunities, Gerry Behan, President and CEO Kerry Ingredients & Flavours, said.

Explaining why they chose Dubai to take this major move, he remarked that the ease of doing business in such a growing business hub like Dubai, the new application centre will be ideal to serve all their customers in this region.

Headquartered in Tralee, Ireland, the Group has revenues of approximately €5.8 billion and employs some 24,000 people throughout its manufacturing, sales and technology centres around the world. Kerry supplies over 15,000 products to customers in more than 140 countries worldwide.

McDonald, Pepsi, Starbucks, Nestle are among Kerry’s main clients.
