The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), headquartered in Abu Dhabi, has expanded the number of permanent representatives accredited to the agency.

Ambassadors to the United Arab Emirates from Turkey, Iraq and Iran presented their credentials to Adnan Z. Amim, the IRENA director general, on Tuesday.

The new permanent representatives join diplomats from twelve other countries who are already accredited.

IRENA Members may appoint a permanent representative to the agency and set up a permanent mission in the UAE.
