GE and Septech deploy mobile water systems
GE Water and Process Technologies and Septech have announced a 20-year, multi-million dollar agreement that will help the UAE and Oman meet their growing water needs.
Dubai: GE Water and Process Technologies and Septech have announced a 20-year, multi-million dollar agreement that will help the UAE and Oman meet their growing water needs.
Under the recently signed agreement, Septech, a water infrastructure and specialised engineering firm has purchased a fleet of rapidly deployable GE Mobile Water Treatment Systems (GE MWTS).
The systems will provide regional, industrial, municipal and infrastructure customers in UAE and Oman with solutions capable of meeting virtually any water, waste water and process water needs.
The fleet, which will be owned by Septech and serviced by GE, is easily deployable and able to meet the most stringent regulatory requirements in the world. The units and operable independent of a power source.
Housed in a 12-metre mobile container, the units are can treat brackish, salt and wastewater and produce up to 1,000 cubic metres of pure water per day.
