Ferrari World theme park confirms job cuts
New timings to align with visitor demand have resulted in elimination of some positions
"Operational hours have been aligned with visitor demand and, as of November 15, 2011, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has been opening at 11am and closing at 8pm.
"This has resulted in new job opportunities at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, while in some areas there has been a reduction in staffing levels in line with the new timings," the spokesman said in an emailed statement.
He, however, didn't specify the exact number of job cuts at Ferrari World. A local media report previously said that in addition to the elimination of more than 100 positions at Ferrari World, the remaining staff face salary and benefits adjustments, which will vary according to employee salary grades.
