Dubai: Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry is to organise a Legal and Practical Aspects of International Trade Finance seminar at its head office next week.

The seminar, which is being organised in partnership with Standard Chartered Bank, will give an overview of the role of banks in international trade finance as well as an insight into the current practical and legal challenges facing banks, carriers and traders involved in trade finance operations.

The one-day seminar will provide a comprehensive overview of the obligations and challenges faces by the parties involved. It is expected to be attended by traders, sales and purchasing managers, forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, credit and compliance professionals, insurers, trade consultants, international bankers and legal professionals.
