Dubai: DP World-UAE Region, has joined Dubai Quality Group (DQG) to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and the highest level of quality for safe, reliable, environmentally-friendly and cost-effective port management and customer service.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) reflecting the partnership was signed by Mohammad Ali Ahmad, Chief Operations Officer DP World-UAE Region and Dr Yousef Ebrahim Al Akraf, DQG Chairman in the presence of Badriya Al Tamimi, DQG’S MD and senior executives from both parties, DP World said in a press release.
During the signing ceremony held in Jebel Ali, DP World-UAE Region was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation, in recognition of its tireless efforts to support DQG’s vision to consolidate a culture of quality, innovation and corporate excellence across the local business industry.
Mohammad Ali Ahmad said that this partnership with DQG demonstrated the keenness of DP World-UAE Region to promote its overall quality system aimed at customer satisfaction. “DP World-UAE Region is committed to working with quality management authorities, including Dubai Quality Group, to raise the bar of industry excellence. Our policy is to adopt the highest international quality standards to support our drive to provide safe, efficient and environmentally-friendly services that best meet our customer expectations,” he added.
