Content to drive growth prospects: Al Mubarak
Al Mubarak said their investment focus will be on content and technology to drive growth in the media business
Abu Dhabi: There's tremendous growth potential in the media business in the Middle East, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of twofour54, said Wednesday.
Speaking at the Abu Dhabi 2010 Media Summit, Al Mubarak said: "Content is the key that will drive growth. Home-grown content has not been created here. I think there we have a big growth potential."
He said the key to it is "finding the right partner that will co-invest with us and also finding the right technology."
Al Mubarak said their investment focus will be on content and technology to drive growth in the media business.
"We are moving quickly, but there's still a long way to go," he added.
