- Shoppers will be rewarded for purchases and malls are giving away cars, cash, and shopping vouchers this year.
The BMW offer is the biggest DSS raffle promotion this summer. Seven weekly draws will be held during the event which begins on June 17 and runs till August 7. Two people will win a BMW each week.
The draws will be held every Thursday from June 24 except for the final one which will take place on August 7. Shoppers will be entitled to one raffle coupon for every Dh200 spent at participating retail outlets.
Those shopping with MasterCard can double their chances of winning, receiving an additional raffle coupon by making purchases on their cards.
"DSS is now a staple on Dubai's event calendar, and marks the emirate as the region's ultimate summer shopping destination, attracting customers from across the world," said Majid Al Ghurair, Chairman of DSMG.
"With maximum support from 21 leading malls, the summer promotion - now in its 13th year, continues to be well-received by customers and retailers alike. Building on the success of previous campaigns, the DSMG promotion will give a crucial boost to DSS and Dubai's retail sector, providing shoppers with fantastic bargains, surprises and winning opportunities."
Besides from the BMW give-away, participating malls will be hosting a variety of shopping and entertainment events organised by DSS 2010 for families and children, such as ‘Kids' Fashion Week', ‘The international cartoon show' ‘Stories of Sponge Bob', ‘Middle East Junior Chef of the Year' and many more.
