Dubai: Al Jaber Group on Monday said it has launched Dorce Middle East Prefabricated Buildings and Construction LLC - a subsidiary specialised in the manufacturing of modular buildings, accommodation containers, pre-engineered steel construction buildings and villas.
"This company, that will be the biggest in the UAE, is a new addition to the Group's wide range of industries. The announcement came as a result of a joint venture between Al Jaber Group and Dorce Prefabricated Building & Construction Industry Trade Inc. of Turkey," the company said in a statement.
The signing took place in Al Jaber Group head offices in Abu Dhabi between Mohammad Al Jaber, Chief Executive Officer of Al Jaber Group, and Suheyla Cebi Karahan, vice-president of Dorce Middle East Prefabricated Building and Construction Industry Trade Inc.
"This partnership will further enhance our position as leaders in the construction and industry sectors in Abu Dhabi and will project great benefits on our customers," Al Jaber said.
The new company will cater to the growing demands of prefabricated modular buildings especially in the contracting and construction sectors.
The plant will have a huge production capacity that sets it as the biggest facility in the UAE. Supported by the tremendous logistics and transportation capabilities of Al Jaber Group, the new plant will deliver unmatched services to customers in the UAE and the region.
Principal market
Dorce Middle East Prefabricated Buildings and Construction factory will be built in Al Ain, and operations are expected to start immediately and the production line by end of 2009.
The line of products will include prefabricated modular buildings, accommodation containers, pre-engineered steel construction, permanent buildings and Villas.
