Abu Dhabi The fourth Abu Dhabi Economic Forum starts tomorrow. It is organised by the Department of Economic Development and Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group.

The forum will be attended by prominent speakers, experts and analysts, a large delegation of government officials and leading figures from the private and public sector.

Also attending will be more than 600 business leaders in Abu Dhabi and the Gulf, and representatives of foreign banks and investment institutions in Abu Dhabi, the organisers said in a press release Saturday.

In light of the challenges that still face the regional and global economies, the forum this year will adopt a broader outlook and concentrate on exploring post-crisis development and prospects, including corporate strategies and risks, new opportunities.

It will also explore the shift in the global balance of economic power, and lessons learned from the crisis on more than one level.

The forum will also assess Abu Dhabi's development experience and the policies that enabled it to contain the impact of the global economic crisis, and thus benefit from the challenge and move strongly forward towards the next phase of development and growth while building up the economy's resilience and enhancing economic stability.
