Abu Dhabi:
Abu Dhabi Aviation, the largest commercial helicopter operator in the Middle East and which was established 38 years ago, is taking part in International Defence Exhibition and Conference (Idex) through a large pavilion, said Nader Ahmad Mohammad Al Hammadi, Abu Dhabi Aviation Chairman.
Reflecting its outstanding ranking as a specialised national Emirati company in the world of commercial helicopters, the company has managed to establish itself as the biggest operator in the Middle East, Al Hammadi added.
The chairman stressed that the main reason behind the company’s participation in Idex is to show strong support for the Abu Dhabi government’s efforts, through the active participation in such international conferences and exhibitions that are hosted by the capital.
“We seek to harness our participation in Idex to show support for police throughout the UAE and other countries, who are either participating or observing the activities of the expo, especially in the field of search and rescue operations,” said Al Hammadi.
“The message we are bringing to Idex is that our fleet and crews stand ready 24 hours a day, for search, rescue, support and logistic operations, at sea and on land,” said Al Hammadi.
