The LG Optimus 3D smartphone was rolled out at a press conference as the next level of must-have technology.
Users can record and instantly review full three-dimensional video without the need for special 3D glasses.
Regular two-dimensional video and images can still be viewed with conversion software.
"Today 3D technology has become the main stream of people's life style. LG's Optimus 3D smartphone brings advanced 3D technology to the palm of your hands," said H.S. Paik, president of LG Electronics Gulf, at the press conference.
The company said it has entered a partnership with Sharaf DG to exclusively sell the new Optimus 3D at Sharaf DG stores only in the first week after the launch. After that, the phone will be available on shelves at electronics stores across the UAE.
Yasser Sharaf, managing director of Sharaf DG, said his company is glad to welcome the latest in technology.
"At Sharaf DG we're committed to providing our customers the best of the products in the market and LG's Optimus 3D smartphone is the perfect premium product," he said.
