Dubai: Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, Tuesday received Neil Wolin, US Assistant Secretary of the Treasury.
They discussed the global economic and financial situations and the efforts by the governments to support their economics and national financial markets.
The US official explained the policies and steps taken by Washington to help American banking and fin-ancial institutions to regain their role in activating and supporting national and global economy.
Shaikh Ahmad stressed the keenness of the UAE government and Central Bank to support banks and financial institutions in UAE markets to revive the national economy and achieve expected growth rates for this year and following years.
