Trade between UAE and Kyrgyzstan in figures

Total trade between UAE and Kyrgyzstan is $227.8 million

Kyrgyzstan’s export to UAE is $222.0 million and total imports from UAE $5.8 million.

In January-September 2014, total trade between Kyrgyzstan and UAE amounted to $119.5 million and increased by 3.1 times, including Kyrgyzstan export to UAE — $115.4 million (an increase of 3.3 times), Kyrgyzstan imports from UAE is $4.2 million (up 9.1%).

Kyrgyzstan’s major imports from UAE are different foods, paints, varnishes, soap, detergents, equipment, mechanical devices for industry and parts, vehicles and parts, medical instruments etc.

Kyrgyzstan’s main exports to UAE are gold, jet fuel, canned meat and cereal, plastic products, engines etc.

The unemployment level for the past five years averaged at 8.5 per cent.

Foreign Direct Investment into the country in 2013 was $993 million.

Average monthly wage in 2013 was $235.

Gross Domestic Product of the country is expected to be around $13.7 billions in 2017.
