DUBAI: A delegation from Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry left for a weeklong visit to Uganda and Kenya on Monday.

Sharjah Chamber chairman Abdullah Sultan Al Owais said the visit, organised by the chamber’s Sharjah Exports Development Centre, would continue in the development and consolidation of relations and partnerships and form channels of communications between Sharjah’s business sector and its Ugandan and Kenyan counterparts.”

The delegation, which comprises two SCCI board members Mohammad Rashid Dimas, Nasser Mosbeh Al Tunaiji, and Abdul Aziz Shattaf, Director of SEDC, in addition to staff members from SCCI, SEDC Sharjah Investment & Development Authority (Shurooq) and executive directors of 15 business entities ranging from industrial and production to export.
